Based on the Young Fathers song of the same name, this portrait of Kayus Bankole draws together the visuals conjured for me in its lyrics, which feel like a call to arms. Kayus is suspended in a fictional,dream-like landscape implying a clash of imagined and real identity and sense of self. It's about conflict of ideals and self but also a tribute to one of my best and closest friends. Listen here
