Acrylic on wood 30x41cm. The first of a series of paintings exploring the idea of memory. Flashes of moments whos context is lost but their reverberating importance is exaggerated and heightened when we recall lost moments/people/love. When I think of those moments I indulge and idealise, they reverberate and grow in to something else.I’ve chosen people who share some of these memories or flashes with me. Some will be about sensation,pleasure or oblivion and others about connection,touch. Also this is the first thing I’ve painted that gives me motion sickness.
